Guam Solid Waste Residential Transfer Stations - Harmon, Agat and Malojloj
RECYCLABLE ITEMS
Guam recycles at the 3 Guam Solid Waste transfer stations FOR FREE!
Sorting out recyclables from regular trash decreases the amount of trash that ends up in our landfill. Also, if you currently take your own trash to a transfer station, removing recyclables from regular trash decreases the volume, and you would end up paying less over time. For more information on recyclables and accepted trash items, please go to https://www.guamsolidwasteauthority.com/gswa-residential-ts.shtml
Below are recyclable items that are accepted at GSW Transfer Stations:
- aluminum cans - You can also take aluminum cans to any school that partners with the i-Recycle Program. The more aluminum cans that a school collects, the more money they receive for educational supplies. Also, Pyramid Recycling in Harmon will pay you for aluminum cans.
- plastic containers #1 and #2
- cardboard
- glass,
- steel cans
- Mixed paper including cereal or soda box material
